It was in high school where Marcus C. Head found his passion in the broadcast industry. In 2004 Marcus was granted an internship at Radio One Columbus. During this internship Marcus learned the ins and outs of what is now his career in radio. Today, Marcus' enthusiasm shows through his work as he voices and produces numerous radio spots that have aired in cities all around Ohio. 5!> What steps do minorities need to take to create a better community for our children?

First there needs to be a leader. One who has the best in mind for the community. The minority needs to also be able to work together. Once they unite there can be a transformation process where the children see how mommy and daddy are a positive infulence, not Gucci Mane. That'll expand and from there things go up.

8!> Who in your life has pushed you the hardest concerning your dreams?

My mother has been the #1 person who pushed me the hardest. At an early age she knew that I would make something of myself, and she knew I needed a constant foot in my butt to get me there! Without her I may have settled for far less in life.

11!> What do you think do you think about the divorce rate being at %50 percent and what do you think could change this?

With the divorce rate at 50% Im left discouraged. To me that means that marriage isn't meant for everyone. As a child it was monumental; it was the thing to do when you got older. (That, a job with benefits, and a white picket fence). People have more options and more "opportunities" these days when it comes to relationships. "If you won't do it somebody else sure will" is a quote that was told to me years ago. Nowadays with texting, facebook, emails, etc; its way easier for those "somebody else's" to slide on in. Take that away and maybe people will stay together longer....maybe??

12!> How vital/valuable do you believe your family is to your success?

You definitely need encouragement from the people who know you inside and out. They're the ones who know how to tell you the truth (which usually hurts) but they're also the ones who make  the biggest impact when they say they're proud of you.

13!> Do you believe that college or higher education necessary to be successful?

You need to start with a strong foundation so at the least some sort of higher education will do. For example it doesn't take four years of college to learn how to record in a production studio; hands on experience will teach you that. Compared to the decade of college you'll need to become a doctor.  Sometimes experience works almost as well. I have yet to complete my bachelor degree program, but every course has helped me along the way.

14!> What is your definition of SUCCESS?

Success is what happens when you wake up and realize you're doing/have done what you set out to do. It was recent that I realized I am successful. In high school I wished to one day be in a studio recording/producing on a daily basis; and getting paid for it too. Today, that's exactly what Im doing. "Success"
