I have great news of an EXCITING project that was just launched yeaterday. The project is called "Salon Stories" it features a friend of mine Mr. Kel Spencer and is hosted by the LEGENDARY hip-hop icon MC Lyte. Released in partnership with Perfect Results Haircare, It's a compilation that will feature them having conversations about male/female relationships along with good music to compliment the conversation! "The Salon Stories project is being launched heavily within the digital
space and features in-salon listening events, college radio/campus activities
and reality show snippets. For online enthusiasts, a Salon Stories microsite and
Twitter page will be a destination where visitors communicate and tweet about
relationships. Topping off the experience is the music and the exciting live set
Kel brings forth as an entertainer. In addition to hosting duties courtesy of MC
Lyte, the album includes guest stars from diverse musical backgrounds, including
Jesse Boykins III, Q-Tip, Chico Benymon (UPN-Half & Half), Amanda Diva, Def
Poets Shanelle Gabriel & Rivaflowz, Lydia Caesar, among others."
Just an FYI if you don't know who Kel Spencer is, he is an award winning songwriter and emerging Hip Hop artist. His list of credits includes ghostwriterand co-author for artists such as Wyclef Jean, Nick Cannon, Teddy Riley, MC Lyte and Will Smith.
