My name is Antoinette, Ms. Cream of the Crop, I own T.E.T. Entertainment. I have been an Ohio business owner since 2005. I currently manage a group of Hip Hop artists and models. I also specialize in event planning and promo. If it has anything to do with entertainment I can do it or know someone who can get it done. I love all things dealing with the arts. I owe everything I know to my industry and non industry family members, my performing arts schools, college, and my hustle & grind to network...network...network!

My Favorite quote: "Failing to Prepare, You have Prepared to Fail" Unknown
A. The state of Hip Hop on television is abysmal!! The state of real underground rap is definitely where it's at. There are several artists that aren't signed that are holding it down on the lyrical tip! I think the industry is watering down rappers to make them more marketable. They feel as if they know what people want to hear but they have NO idea!! If they actually listened to the "streets" and the "people" they would realize that REAL rap heads are complaining about the music that is being put out.
What happened to REAL HIP HOP and R&B!!! I have no issues with club music at all but why can't it just stay in the club? Back in the "day" you did have No Limit, Cash Money, 2 Live Crew, Rob Bass, etc. but you also had Big Daddy Kane, Jay-Z, EPMD, Outkast, Nas, Biggie, TuPac, etc. You had REAL rap mixed with club, bass and booty music.
Let's get back to the old formula and keep it funky!
2!> What do you think of when you hear the words "Record Deal"
A. "Soul Sold" "Creativity Demolished"
5!> What steps do minorities need to take to create a better community for our children?
A. We has a people need to stop competing and collaborate. We are so stuck on how we can come up better than I neighbor so we can "shit" on them but, there is power in numbers. Why did our ancestors, grandparents, and former activist succeed? Because they worked together towards one goal...FREEDOM!!!
They had to struggle to get what they wanted to make our life easier but, we as young people feel as if things need to be handed to us on a silver platter. We hate everything about ourselves!! if we didn't we wouldn't put one another down, steal from one another, hate on one another, or discriminate against our own people!!!
We need to stop rearing our families with materialistic possessions and rear them to strive to attain education, businesses, knowledge, and unity. We need to stop settling for the Lab Tech, Nail Tech, Cafeteria Tech, Nurse Tech, Dental Tech (hygienist), "I been cleaning up Cleveland Clinic for 20yrs" positions and be the Phlebotomist, Nail Salon Owner, Cafeteria Manager, Registered Nurse, Dentist, be the Doctor!!! You could've had a PHD in those 20 years you were scrubbing the floors. There is nothing wrong with any of these positions but how can we grow as a people if we continue to settle for less?!
7!> What beliefs do you hold onto that motivate you to do what you do?
A. I believe in hardwork, hustle, networking, and making your word your bond
8!> Who in your life has pushed you the hardest concerning your dreams?
A. Honestly ME and no one else!!
9!> “Black women have always been these vixens, these animalistic erotic women. Why can't we just be the sexy American girl next door?" Tyra Banks
Does the media sensationalize black women in particular more so than any other race??? What do you think of this quote?
Does the media sensationalize black women in particular more so than any other race??? What do you think of this quote?
A. No & Yes! We do the damage to ourselves. We trashed Gabourey Sidibe for being "unattractive" and complain that there are too many "booty" models!!! Make up your minds people. There are several black actresses and models that have made it thus far, even through struggles, that never used a sexualized image to gain their stardom.
We love to complain about EVERYTHING as if we're taking a stand but are we really? Our race is almost like the boy who cried wolf...now who will pay attention when we really have a major issue to talk about and receive justice?
Rock and Roll videos use half naked women in almost everything they do! Rock of Love, Kid Rock, Go Daddy dot com and almost any other "white" venue uses sex to sell products as well. If you watch a dominantly white movie there's sexy women half dressed on the screen. Hollywood is predominately white and how many of the women you see on your TV screen, movie screen, and magazines are hideously unattractive women dressed from the neck down? *taps foot waiting on an answer*
11!> What do you think do you think about the divorce rate being at %50 percent and what do you think could change this?
A. I think it's horrible! Stop getting married for the wrong reasons, take responsibility, learn to communicate, stop taking the easy way out, stop being selfish, and love the person that you married enough to give them the resect of receiving every once of love you have vowed to give.
14!> What is your definition of SUCCESS?
A. When I see my children get good grades on their report card, paying my bills on time, making my husband feel like the king that he is, providing a place that my family can call home, volunteering in my community, graduating from college (college isn't for everyone), bringing home a paycheck from a job that I love, setting goals and accomplishing those goals, and lastly being happy with myself as a woman on ALL levels
21!> Today more than ever, it is becoming increasingly important to generate your own revenue and income because of the slim pickings in the job market. What would you as an entrepreneur tell someone looking to make their passion a career??
A. Find a mentor, ask a million questions, have a plan, set goals, network, and the sky is the limit!!! Do your research you can never have enough knowledge about your field of expertise. Chose your team wisely!!! Everyone that you feel has your back doesn't...family and friends don't always make the best business partners.
